Who we are
CHEF by Divot was born as the younger sibling of the classic Divot, with a very clear idea: to bring San Pedro de Alcántara its own gastronomic experience, loyal to the same high quality as always, but with a fresh new personality. We wanted to create a restaurant where locals and guests from all along the Costa del Sol could enjoy contemporary charcoal-grilled cuisine in a carefully designed yet welcoming setting.
We are located in the Arquero Beach building, just a step away from the Mediterranean sea, with a bright terrace and a contemporary interior. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed – perfect for a special dinner, an impromptu after-work drink, a family meal, or an evening out with friends.

Our cuisine revolves around top-quality produce and open flame. You’ll find starters designed for sharing and a menu that spans meats, fish, pasta and vegetarian options, always with thoughtful presentation. The real stars are our prime cuts and the way we cook them: charcoal grills brought to the table so each guest can finish their dish to their liking and turn dinner into an interactive experience.

The experience is completed with a carefully curated selection of wines, champagnes and cocktails to accompany every dish and every moment. Our friendly, attentive front-of-house team is here to recommend, explain the menu and make sure the only thing you have to worry about is enjoying yourself.

The opening of Divot Gastro Grill in 2020, set in the exclusive surroundings of the Banus Executive Golf course, was our first step into the market. From the beginning, our focus has been to uphold the philosophy that backs us: years of experience and the trust of all those who have made the Divot name a synonym for quality, wellbeing and excellent service.
CHEF by Divot was born from the desire to move closer to the heart of a growing town with expanding infrastructure and services, such as the San Pedro de Alcántara area. Our group offers a welcoming, family-friendly space with a renewed and elevated approach to the gastronomic scene.
Alongside our traditional charcoal-grilled meats, guests can enjoy creative rice dishes and homemade pastas. For fish lovers, we stay true to classic quality while adding an innovative twist, and our dessert selection is constantly reinvented for every season of the year.
